De Tulp Derne\u011fi, 15 May\u0131s 1986 tarihinde, Yunus Emre Camii\u2019nde yeterli alan bulamayan ve bir araya gelerek sosyo-k\u00fclt\u00fcrel etkinlikler d\u00fczenlemek isteyen T\u00fcrk k\u00f6kenli gen\u00e7ler taraf\u0131ndan kurulmu\u015ftur. Dernek, cami d\u0131\u015f\u0131nda gen\u00e7lerin bir araya gelebilece\u011fi bir alan yaratmay\u0131 ve onlar\u0131n sosyal ve k\u00fclt\u00fcrel ihtiya\u00e7lar\u0131n\u0131 kar\u015f\u0131layacak etkinlikler d\u00fczenlemeyi ama\u00e7lam\u0131\u015ft\u0131r.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

De Tulp Vereniging: Een Multiculturele Structuur met Gemeenschappelijke Culturele Waarden.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

De Tulp Vereniging werd op 15 mei 1986 opgericht door jongeren van Turkse afkomst die in de Yunus Emre Moskee niet voldoende ruimte hadden om samen te komen en sociaal-culturele activiteiten te organiseren. Het doel van de vereniging was om buiten de moskee een plek te cre\u00ebren waar jongeren samen konden komen en activiteiten konden organiseren die aansloten bij hun sociale en culturele behoeften.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In 1996, na lange en toegewijde inspanningen van de jongeren, wees de gemeente Almelo een deel van het huidige verenigingsgebouw toe aan de vereniging. Bij de oprichting droeg de vereniging de naam \u201cJongerenvereniging\u201d, aangezien deze door jongeren was opgericht. Door de jaren heen onderging de vereniging echter demografische veranderingen, en ook de samenstelling van de leden veranderde aanzienlijk.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In 2019 werd een herstructurering binnen de vereniging doorgevoerd. Hierbij werd een nieuwe naam gekozen die zowel de waarden van de samenleving waarin we leven als het culturele erfgoed van Turkije weerspiegelt: De Tulp Vereniging. De tulp is een belangrijk cultureel symbool voor zowel Nederland als Turkije. Terwijl Nederland wereldwijd bekend staat om zijn tulpen, speelde de bloem ook een prominente rol in het Ottomaanse Rijk, waar de \u201cTulpenperiode\u201d een tijdperk van welvaart en kunst symboliseerde. Omdat de tulp een gemeenschappelijke waarde van beide landen vertegenwoordigt, werd deze naam als passend beschouwd voor de nieuwe identiteit van de vereniging.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

De Tulp Vereniging heeft een multiculturele structuur aangenomen en staat open voor iedereen, ongeacht kleur, ras, afkomst of nationaliteit. Door middel van activiteiten die mensen samenbrengen, streeft de vereniging naar meer solidariteit en het gezamenlijk bouwen aan een sterkere toekomst. In deze gemeenschap, waar verschillende culturen harmonieus naast elkaar bestaan, worden zowel de waarden van het verleden gekoesterd als bruggen gebouwd naar een multiculturele toekomst.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

De Tulp Association: A Multicultural Structure with Shared Cultural Values<\/p>\n\n\n\n

De Tulp Association was founded on May 15, 1986, by young people of Turkish origin who lacked sufficient space in the Yunus Emre Mosque to gather and organize socio-cultural activities. The aim of the association was to create a place outside the mosque where young people could come together and engage in activities that met their social and cultural needs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In 1996, after long and dedicated efforts by its members, the Municipality of Almelo allocated part of the current association building to them. At the time of its establishment, the association was named \u201cYouth Association\u201d since it was founded by young people. Over the years, however, the association underwent demographic changes, and the composition of its members evolved significantly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In 2019, a restructuring of the association was carried out. A new name was chosen to reflect both the values of the society in which we live and the cultural heritage of Turkey: De Tulp Association. The tulip is an important cultural symbol for both the Netherlands and Turkey. While the Netherlands is globally renowned for its tulips, the flower also played a prominent role in the Ottoman Empire, symbolizing prosperity and art during the \u201cTulip Era.\u201d As the tulip represents a shared value between these two countries, it was deemed an appropriate choice for the association\u2019s new identity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

De Tulp Association has embraced a multicultural structure and welcomes everyone, regardless of color, race, origin, or nationality. Through activities that bring people together, the association aims to foster solidarity and build a stronger future collectively.
